CHNCY x WHATEVR | PREMIUM CAR PRESETS - SIGNATURE COLLECTION

Built for the car. Numbered like one. Car photos live or die on the paint. Good light, good angle, and then the edit makes it look like any other car meet dump. CHASSIS fixes that. CHASSIS is the Signature Collection, a collaboration between CHNCY.VSL (@chncy.vsl) and WHATEVR. Creative Studios. Every photo was shot and every look was edited by CHNCY.VSL, on real cars at real meets and back roads. WHATEVR packaged them into a set that works the way a car shooter actually edits: one click to the look, then a few tweaks and you're done. Every look is a numbered build. Four chassis, four personalities. The Looks IGNITION | Chassis No. 001: Warm amber tones, deep blacks and a soft glow. Blues pulled out completely. Fall drives and late-afternoon light. CERAMIC | Chassis No. 002: Glowing warm highlights over cool, blue shadows. Clean contrast that makes paint pop. Parking decks, concrete, rooftops. REDLINE | Chassis No. 003: Faded blacks, rolled-off highlights and real film grain. Retro magazine energy for classics and modern builds alike. TORQUE | Chassis No. 004: Everything turns gold. Rich oranges and yellows, muted blues, extra bite in the detail. Best on red, orange, yellow, black and white paint. Set Your White Balance This is the one step that matters. Each look is built with its own white balance dialed in, and every scene is different. After you apply a preset: Go to Temp and Tint in the Basic panel. Adjust until the whites in your shot read clean and the paint looks like the actual car. Then let the look do the rest. Get the white balance right and CHASSIS looks right. Skip it and colors can go too warm or too cool. Best results come from RAW files. JPEGs and phone photos work too, just expect to spend a little more time on white balance and exposure. Common Questions "The colors look off on my photo." Set white balance first. That fixes it 9 times out of 10. "The look is too strong." Use the Amount slider under the preset (Lightroom and Camera Raw) to dial it back. "My blue car went gray in TORQUE." That's by design. TORQUE pulls blue hues out of the sky so everything turns gold, and blue paint gets caught in it too. To keep a blue car blue, mask the car (Masking > Objects, or a brush) and bring the saturation back up on that mask. The sky stays gold, the paint stays blue. "Does it work on JPEGs or phone photos?" Yes, but RAW gives you the cleanest result and the most room to adjust. Signature Collection | Shot and edited by CHNCY.VSL. Packaged by WHATEVR. Creative Studios.
